I was invited in 2025 to take part in a group exhibition at the Linn Gallery, Clonmel in Tipperary. The theme of the exhibition was Skylines. Incorporating my love of maps, I have interpreted the theme to follow the flight paths of birds, particularly migrating birds.
Four of the paintings span the full breath of the south coast in maps, West to East, from Dingle Bay, over Killarney, to Cork, Waterford and Wexford.

Migrating birds use a variety of landmarks to navigate, such as rivers, mountains, coastlines, and man-made architectural structures – buildings, villages and church towers. They also rely on celestial cues like the sun and stars, and the Earth’s magnetic field, to orient themselves and maintain their course over long distances.
